An old 3.2 Carrera is a lot on the street.

I have 2 911s. This one is what I refer to as a street car that’s fun on track. By that I mean it’s got street tires and 3 point belts. On a curvy mountain road 2nd 3rd and 4th gears are fun to row through. It makes fun noises and moves around enough to n

I would only buy a GT3 variant.

If I were forced to return to the Porsche Welt, I would return to a GT3 vehicle, which have improved tremendously and have recently become a double-wishbone suspension car. A more gentlemanly GT3 variant is the "GT3 Touring" variant which eliminates the b

It’s a thoughtful and valid question, especially as prices of my 911 have through the roof.

I use my 997.2 GT3 as a daily driver, I’ve never tracked it nor do I want to. I have friends who ask me why I don’t race that car, I tell them I don’t need another hobby that I Suck at..but I digress. I like the following: 911 GTS, 4S and T come to mind a

The ultimate wolf in sheep’s clothing is the GT3 touring.

Looks like a base Carrera but with all the grit of the GT3 it’s a IYkYK car.

Funny thinking these are too dangerous

NA 500 hp isn’t too crazy. I’m more worried about the person in their model S plaid. That being said I always wanted a gt3, and about three years ago was offered one, but by then my kids were getting into booster seats. I decided to go into a carrera T. I

911 Turbo S or 911 GTS

A colleague got a preowned 2023 GT3 in December (he's now had 2). Two weeks later, I asked him how many times he's redlined it. He said he hadn't yet. I was a bit gobsmacked. Why buy that car and not blast it to its 9K RPM redline? I told him it was like

What year is your car ?

Apparently those are nearly the same seats as the ones in my friends 2018 GT3. Compared to the fixed Alpine A110 Sabelt seats I find them a bit less comfy, maybe a half or one degree less incline. For an old man like me that could be an issue . Quality wi

You literally talked me....

out of getting yours a while back! By the way, I still haven't forgiven you for not having the chance to see it before you sold it 🙃. Execution-wise, it's the Reverso that has always impressed me most besides the ridiculously expensive ones a la GT3 etc.

From my track rat days

Sadly one of the last picture of my buddies GT3 before he crashed it heavily (he was fine, the car was written off):

I'm into skinnies ;-)

There's something incredibly sexy about thinner wheels, photo from my 89 (gone but not forgotten). For modern sport driving the 996 GT3 wheel is hard to beat.
